Generally
Yoga is related with mind and spirit where body and mind get benefits
initially. Hence code of conducts, Kriyas, Asanas, Pranayams, Mudras
etc and other physical processes create basis for higher psychological
practices and provides integration in the psycho - physiological
process as a first step towards attainment of samadhi.
These practices are intended to stabilise psychophysiological mechanism so that
there is less and less tendency towards all imbalance in the face of external
and internal stimuli.Yoga recognises close interrelationship between body and
mind .
It creates balance between body systems and mind to provide better fitness at
any age and condition also can be useful as curative therapy in common diseases
and supportive therapy in all types of diseases in general and lifestyles disorders
like diabetes,coronary heart diseases, hypertension, asthama ,arthritis etc.
in particular.
