kms from Almora, Jageshwar is believed to be the adobe of twelve
Jyotirling's. It is situated in a beautiful narrow valley surrounded
by magnificent Deodar trees. The complex, consisting of 124 temples
and hundreds of statues, is famous not merely for its exquisite
craftsmanship but also for its Swayambhu Linga named Nagesh.
In Jageshwar, fairs are held during Shivaratri and in the month
of 'Savan' (July, August). The place is frequented by both religious
as well as nature lover tourists.

Mritola Ashram :
A centre of spirtual and natural beauty, this Ashram lures many
foreign disciples. It is a 10km trek from Jagesgwar to Shokiathal
and Mritola Ashram. One can reach Mritola Ashram by road till Virdh
Jageshwar then trek 2kms. The Patoria Farm is part of this complex.
