Backed
up by the sensational sway of casuarinas trees and creepered sand-dunes,
the waters at Chandipur Beach (16km from Balasore) are like molten
gold under the sunlit sky.
A fabulous bonus to sea - worshippers is the usual twist of the
ebb and flow of the waters which draws off the sea, almost 5 km
away from the beach.
If you're bored with reveling in the waters , you can hitch a ride
with the local fishermen's boats and trawl the limpid waters for
your supper all the way up to the mouth of the river Budhabalanga.
Chandipur is a beach-combers delight with its abundant sea-shells
and driftwood. You can even take a jeep-ride, when the waters recede
far away from the golden sands, along the beach.
